Alves wants to clinch up but Denton keeps it at a distance.
Denton slips a jab and a cross from Alves.
Alves misses with the combination.

Alves swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Denton misses the shot to the body.
Denton lands a right hook to the body.
Alves fails to land the takedown.
Denton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Denton scores with a one two! Alves had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Danilo Alves has been cut.

Denton slips a jab and a cross from Alves.
Alves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Denton but Denton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Denton throws a body punch but Alves moves out of range.
Denton's jab looks to have found its range, popping Alves under the eye.

Denton swats away the attempt to clinch by Alves.

Alves throws a sloppy head kick and Denton moves out of range easily.
Denton lands a jab to Alves's midsection.
Denton stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
