Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ibragimov to the mat! Ibragimov manages to get full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jones won't allow Ibragimov to get back to his feet.
Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Jones remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Ibragimov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ibragimov takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Ibragimov avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jones.
The strikes coming from Jones are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ibragimov is being controlled here.
Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ibragimov for as long as he can get away with.

Ibragimov avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jones.
Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ibragimov sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jones is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Ibragimov hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
