The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carolla stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Carolla lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ante at a distance.

Carolla has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ante avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Carolla really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ante jumps guard and drags Carolla to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Santino Carolla.
