Light comes to the cage accompanied by Ride for This-Fabolous. Oliveira has chosen Breaking Benjamin - So Cold as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oliveira tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bobby Light seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Light throws an overhand right that lands on Oliveira's shoulder, as Oliveira tries to avoid the shot.
Light misses with a combination
and Oliveira counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Oliveira tries to clinch up.
Light throws a jab but it's blocked by Oliveira.
No luck for Light with that takedown attempt.
Oliveira tries to move into range but Light moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Oliveira fails with an attempt to clinch.
Light lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Ernesto Oliveira has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That kick from Oliveira tenderised Light's leg. Light is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oliveira displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Light shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Oliveira defends it nicely.
Light lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Oliveira circles away quickly and effectively.
Ernesto Oliveira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Light swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Light tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Oliveira just stands there and leans against the cage.

Light wants to break free but Oliveira has control.

Light fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Oliveira pushes Light back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Oliveira creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Light takes a shot to the head.
Oliveira misses with a hook to the ribs.
A frustrated look appears on Light's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Oliveira tries to throw a body punch but Light avoids it by throwing Oliveira back against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Light is rocked!

Oliveira drops Light onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Light is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Light is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oliveira lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Light to his knees! Oliveira keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
