Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Incubus Foo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rapid Fire!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foo lands a head shot.
Foo misses the shot to the body.
Foo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fire.
Foo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fire shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Foo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fire.
Foo thows a body shot but no joy.
Foo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Foo cracks a nice hook into Fire's ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Foo scores with a jab to the body.
Foo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fire under the eye.
Foo looks to land a right hand but Fire moved out of range.
Fire fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Foo.
Foo scores with a sloppy right hand. Fire should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Foo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Good leg kick by Fire there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Foo is looking to wear down Fire with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fire walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Foo throws a lazy right hand but Fire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fire throws a leg kick which misses Foo's front leg but catches the back leg as Foo tries to avoid it.
Foo is breathing heavily.
Fire misses with a head kick.
Fire scores with a head kick.
It looks like Incubus Foo has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Foo lands a head shot.
Foo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fire manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice defenses there by Fire.
Foo moves to clinch but Fire breaks away
and Fire counters with a huge head kick that drops Foo! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rapid Fire!
