Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oliver John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliv Fabregas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver John! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliv Fabregas! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick from Fabregas lands but John takes it in his stride. Fabregas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts John as he jumps to the side. Fabregas looks for a takedown but John sprawls well. Fabregas doesn't manage to clinch there - John circles away.
John closes the distance and clinches up with Fabregas, looking for a takedown. John pushes Fabregas against the cage but Fabregas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. John shoots in and drives through. Fabregas sprawls well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fabregas. Oliver John has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliv Fabregas. Fabregas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. John defends it nicely. Fabregas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fabregas missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fabregas controlling the action here. John wants to control but Fabregas is keeping busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fabregas throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Oliv Fabregas was stalling too much, according to the referee. Fabregas forces John back against the cage and clinches. Fabregas has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics John uses from the top position. Fabregas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. John gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. John trying to control but Fabregas is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fabregas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
John drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fabregas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now John has Fabregas in his guard. Fabregas decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Fabregas has closed the distance and engaged John in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. John fails to pull the fight into his guard.

John tries to pull guard but Fabregas holds him up against the cage and eventually John drops back down to his feet.
John has had enough of the clinch but Fabregas keeps him there for the moment. John stops a takedown attempt from Fabregas.
Fabregas looks gassed! John jumps guard but Fabregas stands there with John around his waist. John gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fabregas wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fabregas is trying to break the clinch but John is controlling him. John fails to pull the fight into his guard.
John tries to break free but Fabregas pushes him back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliv Fabregas dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice takedown defense from Fabregas. No joy for John on that attempt. Fabregas connects with a body shot that sends John's belly button to the back. Fabregas tries to close the distance and clinch up but John swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fabregas throws a hook but John avoids it easily. John swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fabregas shoots in for a takedown but John shows good takedown defense. Fabregas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says John as he avoids it easily. John tries for a takedown but Fabregas circles away easily and Fabregas counters with a nice double leg into side control. John won't be happy with that. Fabregas is breathing heavily. Fabregas is staying tight to John's torso, preventing him from escaping. Fabregas trying to control the position but John is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fabregas stands up and we're back to a striking position. John shoots in looking for a takedown but Fabregas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing John's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver John. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fabregas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fabregas showed some decent athleticism there. John is staying active underneath Fabregas, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Fabregas is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Oliv Fabregas has got the better of the ground game so far.

Oliv Fabregas has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Fabregas lands a head kick. John smiles back at him and beckons him forward. John shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fabregas defends it nicely. John is looking to clinch.

Fabregas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has John pinned against the cage. John gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice takedown defense from Fabregas. No joy for John on that attempt. John tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fabregas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten John somewhat. John doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fabregas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in John's guard now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fabregas is pushing down on John's leg trying to pass to half guard. John is fighting to maintain full guard but Fabregas has managed to sneak the leg through. Fabregas looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fabregas winds up and cracks John with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fabregas seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. John wants to improve his position but Fabregas is controlling well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fabregas escapes and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliv Fabregas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
John misses with a takedown attempt and Fabregas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in John's guard now. Fabregas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fabregas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. John knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fabregas on the ground. Fabregas sitting in guard, not really doing much. John looking for a sweep. Not yet John, not yet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fabregas controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Fabregas wants to control from the top but John keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Oliv Fabregas wasn't active enough on the ground. Fabregas looks to clinch and John cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fabregas checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Fabregas looks for the body kick but John saw that one coming. Fabregas moves into range and clinches up with John. Fabregas manages to pull guard.
Fabregas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. John is aware though and is defending well. Fabregas has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fabregas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fabregas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. John doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. John manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fabregas looking to hit a scissor sweep but John is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. John trying to control the position from guard on top but Fabregas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. John really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Oliver John wasn't doing enough on the ground. John throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fabregas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. John shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fabregas as he jumps to the side. Fabregas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has John pinned against the cage. John gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. John shoots in but Fabregas avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver John. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fabregas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fabregas leaves John with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fabregas gets in close and instigates a clinch. John tries to pull guard but Fabregas holds him up against the cage and eventually John drops back down to his feet.
Fabregas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. John has Fabregas pressed against the cage, preventing Fabregas from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Oliver John has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Oliv Fabregas is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. John lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fabregas backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! Oliv Fabregas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fabregas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
