Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Prof Baltazar!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baltazar keeps the fight on the outside.
Baltazar works the jab nicely.

Collins gets the takedown into side control.
Collins is looking to take a break and control but Baltazar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Baltazar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Collins fails in his attempt to clinch.
Baltazar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bob Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Collins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baltazar pinned against the cage. Baltazar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Baltazar throws a series of punches but Collins moves out of range.
Collins tries to clinch there but Baltazar circles away.
A bone on bone clash there as Collins blocks the leg kick.
Baltazar stuffs the takedown.
Baltazar throws a right hand that Collins ducks under and follows up with a left that Collins also avoids with ease.

Baltazar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Collins's sensitive parts.
Collins is breathing heavily.
Collins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Collins avoids the head kick by Baltazar.
Baltazar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Collins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Baltazar swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Collins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Baltazar has managed to clinch.
Baltazar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Collins fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Collins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Baltazar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Collins throws a body punch but Baltazar moves out of range.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Baltazar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Collins is trying to keep Baltazar in close.
Baltazar is looking to work some ground and pound but Collins has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Prof Baltazar will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Collins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Baltazar.
Collins throws a hook to the side of Baltazar's head but Baltazar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Baltazar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Baltazar.
Baltazar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Collins checks a leg kick.
Bob Collins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Collins is looking to clinch.
Baltazar throws a nice outside leg kick.
Baltazar shoots and misses

and Collins counters with a shoot takedown. Baltazar fights it but they end up in guard.
Baltazar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Collins makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Collins.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Collins is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Baltazar is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Baltazar is working an open guard so Collins takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Collins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baltazar is fending him off so far but Collins persists. Nope, Baltazar circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Collins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Collins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Baltazar gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Collins tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Baltazar smiles and moves away.

Baltazar throws a lazy right hand but Collins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Baltazar moves into range and clinches up with Collins.
Baltazar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Collins.

Baltazar manages to break the clinch.
Nice body kick from Baltazar.
Collins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baltazar sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Collins misses with a two punch combination.
Collins tries to clinch up but Baltazar circles away and keeps his distance.

and Collins counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Baltazar!

Bob Collins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Collins is working for a guillotine from mount but Baltazar frees his head quite easily.
Collins wants to control the pace but Baltazar is squirming around nicely.

Collins takes Baltazar's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Baltazar is in trouble.
Collins connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Baltazar to escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Collins has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Baltazar! Can he survive? No! He's out! Collins gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
