The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rayne throws a sloppy head kick and St Pierre moves out of range easily.
Rayne throws out a leg kick but St Pierre moves out of range and Rayne only half commits.
St Pierre swings for the body but Rayne moves out of range.
St Pierre avoids the head kick by Rayne.
Rayne is looking to chop away at St Pierre's legs.

Rayne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rayne sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

St Pierre decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
St Pierre has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rayne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Pierre on the ground.
