The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Underhill looks to score with a jab to the body but Heggs is just out of range.
Underhill misses with a few strikes there.
Underhill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Heggs moves away.
Mike Underhill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Underhill misses with a wild body shot.
Underhill takes a swing at Heggs's ribcage but misses.
Underhill throws a body punch but Heggs moves out of range.
Underhill misses with a lunging right hand

and Heggs counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Heggs.
Underhill misses with a short punch on the inside.
Heggs is pushing Underhill up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Heggs has a couple of punches blocked by Underhill.
Underhill keeps control of Heggs as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Heggs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Underhill dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Underhill takes one to the side of the head.
Underhill throws a looping overhand right but Heggs ducks down to avoid it.
Heggs moves in looking to clinch but Underhill pushes him off.
Underhill tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heggs was well out of range. Poor timing from Underhill.
Heggs closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Heggs tries to clinch but Underhill moves out of range.
Underhill digs a good body shot into Heggs's ribs.
Underhill circles away from the clinch attempt.

Underhill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Heggs moves away.
Underhill paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Underhill bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Heggs's head.
Underhill scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Luther Heggs has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Underhill. Heggs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Heggs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Heggs moves to clinch but Underhill breaks away
and Underhill counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

A jab-cross combination lands for Underhill and sends Heggs crashing to the mat! Underhill follows him down to the mat - Heggs regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Heggs is rocked!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Underhill is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Heggs is hurt! He's hurt bad - Underhill fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Heggs from any more punishment! Congratulations to Underhill! Great finish!
