The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Widow manages to work his way to half guard, despite Marshall's best efforts.
Marshall is trying to control. Widow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Marshall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Widow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Widow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Widow will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Widow is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Marshall frees his head nicely. Oh but Widow has switched to an armbar! Marshall is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
