Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Weiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo tries to bum rush Weiner with a series of wild strikes but Weiner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Aldo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Weiner.
Weiner dodges the punch combination from Aldo.
Weiner misses with an uppercut. Aldo saw that one coming.
Aldo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Aldo avoids the body shot from Weiner.
Weiner keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Aldo.
Aldo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Weiner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Aldo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Weiner swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Weiner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aldo.

Aldo throws a looping overhand right but Weiner ducks down to avoid it.
Weiner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Weiner connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Aldo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Weiner.

Weiner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Weiner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Weiner digs a good body shot into Aldo's ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Aldo shoots in but no luck this time.

Weiner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Aldo is rocked!
Weiner steps in with a hook that catches Aldo right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Weiner follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Aldo looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Weiner!
