Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harley Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalahu Kahala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reyes's entrance music is Voodoo Chile (Stevie Ray Vaughan). A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kalahu Kahala was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harley Reyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kalahu Kahala! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kahala shoots in for a takedown but Reyes shows good takedown defense. Kahala misses with a takedown attempt - Reyes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kahala is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kahala shoots for a takedown but Reyes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Harley Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalahu Kahala. Reyes cracks the inside of Kahala's front leg. Reyes misses with a few strikes there.
Reyes takes a swing at Kahala's ribcage but misses. Harley Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reyes throws a nice looking combination but Kahala bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kahala dodges the punch combination from Reyes.
Kahala fails to land the takedown. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kahala checks a leg kick. Reyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kahala looks gassed! A solid leg kick lands there for Reyes.
Reyes throws a chopping leg kick but Kahala manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Reyes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Reyes.
It looks like Kalahu Kahala has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kahala takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Reyes swinging wilding here.

Kahala shoots in but Reyes avoids the takedown attempt easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kahala shoots for a double leg takedown but Reyes sprawls well. He's pushed Kahala's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kahala on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Reyes. Reyes throws a nice looking combination but Kahala bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kahala.

And that's the end of the fight! Harley Reyes showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reyes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
