The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter tries to close the distance and clinch but Santel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Santel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Slaughter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Slaughter has eaten all the pies!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Santel's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Slaughter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
