Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Chinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahmad Firnanda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Firnanda is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Far East Movement- So What. Ronald Chinner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronald Chinner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ahmad Firnanda! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Firnanda shoots in and bounces Chinner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Firnanda working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chinner looking to control.
Firnanda trying to control but Chinner is working from the bottom. Firnanda distracts Chinner with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Firnanda throwing strikes but missing. Chinner working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chinner has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Firnanda wants to control from the top but Chinner keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Firnanda drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Chinner has control of Firnanda's left arm, preventing Firnanda from doing any damage. Firnanda is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chinner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chinner has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chinner trying to control but Firnanda is working from the bottom. Firnanda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chinner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Chinner drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Firnanda dives on top into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Firnanda trying to control the position from guard on top but Chinner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chinner lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Firnanda!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinner jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Firnanda is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Firnanda and Chinner has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Chinner working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Chinner goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Firnanda has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chinner but great work by Firnanda. Chinner is working to avoid the ground and pound but Firnanda connects with a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chinner is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Firnanda is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chinner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Firnanda tries for a kimura but Chinner is defending well. Firnanda working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ahmad Firnanda dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chinner shoots in for a double leg but Firnanda sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Firnanda gets a double leg takedown into Chinner's guard. Firnanda drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chinner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Firnanda has Chinner in his guard. Firnanda is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chinner wants to control from the top but Firnanda keeps moving. Firnanda is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chinner is aware though and is defending well. Ahmad Firnanda has got the better of the ground game so far. Firnanda is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinner trying to control but Firnanda is working from the bottom. Chinner drops back, looking for a kneebar! Firnanda looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Firnanda looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Firnanda! Chinner can't do much from the bottom here. Firnanda tries to advance to mount but can't. Chinner holding on. Chinner is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Firnanda is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chinner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Chinner can't do much from the bottom here. Chinner is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinner tries to get to full guard but Firnanda has control of the leg. Firnanda thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chinner's head. Firnanda is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chinner defends it well. Chinner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Firnanda is trying to work for a kimura but Chinner is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Firnanda is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Firnanda throws and elbow that misses. Chinner uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Firnanda's guard. Nice move by Chinner! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chinner trying to control the position from guard on top but Firnanda is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ahmad Firnanda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Chinner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Firnanda is fending him off so far but Chinner persists. Nope, Firnanda circles away and we're back to standing. Excellent takedown into side control there by Firnanda. Firnanda thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Chinner is looking for a sweep. Firnanda is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chinner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Firnanda takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Chinner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Chinner is looking to reverse the position. Chinner gets back to half guard. Firnanda lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Chinner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chinner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Firnanda is working away from the top position though. Firnanda looking for a submission but Chinner manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Chinner seems keen to control Firnanda's posture. Chinner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinner is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Firnanda is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Firnanda flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Chinner anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Firnanda and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Chinner slips an arm under Firnanda chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Chinner has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Chinner is squeezing on Firnanda like an anaconda would it's prey. Firnanda fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ronald Chinner!
