Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bullet Bookem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bookem comes to the cage accompanied by Solitaire Unraveling. Po has chosen Skrypture - Look as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bullet Bookem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Po!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bookem misses with a straight left.
Bookem moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bookem cracks Po with a good jab.
Both fighters circling a little - Po finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Bookem misses with a low kick.
Po lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bookem throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Po connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bookem blocks a head kick by Po.
Po throws a head kick that Bookem semi-blocks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Po lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Po tries to score with a low kick but Bookem moves his leg out of the way.

Bookem lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Po circles away quickly and effectively.

Bookem misses with a leg kick.
Po throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Bookem counters with a nice low kick that buckles Po's knee momentarily.
Po throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
James Po is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Some wild striking there from Po.
Bookem lands a really nice looking cross but Po seems unphased.
Po steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bookem.
Bookem thows a left - swing and a miss!
Po drops his hands momentarily and Bookem takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Po scoring well with a low kick there.
Bookem missing with a left hand there. Po was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bookem throws a low kick but Po moves out of range easily.
Bookem throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Po ducks under a wild hook from Bookem.
Bookem is trying hard to land a takedown here. Po sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Po just misses with a punch to the body.
Bookem avoids the body shot from Po.
Po throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bookem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bullet Bookem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Po gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bookem.
Po misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bookem closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Po to the mat! Po manages to get full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Po got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bookem has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Po has managed to get both his arms back between Bookem's legs - danger averted.
Bookem manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Po manages to get himself to full guard.
Bookem with a flurry of punches that miss.

Bookem lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Bookem has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Po uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That kick from Po tenderised Bookem's leg. Bookem is trying to keep his angry face on.
Po ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Po bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bookem feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bookem misses with an uppercut.
Po misses the shot to the body.
Bookem throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but James Po will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Bookem stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Po.

Po throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bookem looks to land a left hand but Po moved out of range nicely.
Po scores with a jab to the body.

A big left from Po misses.
Po goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A punch combination from Bookem misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Bookem.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Po.

Po wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Po feints a jab promting Bookem to slip. Po then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bookem slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Po lands with a nice body punch.
Po throws a low kick, looking for Bookem's leg but Bookem calmly moves out of range.
Bookem clobbers Po with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bookem throws a front kick aimed at Po's knee but Po avoids it well.
James Po seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bookem looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Po wants to slow Bookem down by chopping away at his legs.
Bookem misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Po.

Bookem throws a low kick but it's checked well by Po.

enabling Po to counter with a crisp jab.
Po scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bookem takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bookem misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Po tries to score with a low kick but Bookem moves his leg out of the way.
Bookem stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Po shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bookem takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Bookem closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bookem lands in his opponent's guard.
Po avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Po is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Po tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Po showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Po tries to bum rush Bookem with a series of wild strikes but Bookem uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sloppy strikes from Po. Those never looked like landing.
Bookem changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Po tries to avoid it but Bookem manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Po to the ground. Po escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Po drops his hands momentarily and Bookem takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bookem!
Nice takedown defense from Po. No joy for Bookem on that attempt.
Po doesn't manage to clinch there - Bookem circles away.
Bookem takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Po lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Po lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Po moves out of range of the strikes.
Po does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Po thumps Bookem with a low kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bookem takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bookem checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Bookem looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bookem forces his way into half guard.
Bookem sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Po defending well though.
Bookem lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Bookem is working for a kimura but Po is defending it quite comfortably.
Po makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Po.

Bookem passes Po's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Po is looking to escape.
Bookem thows a huge punch but Po dodges it nicely.
Po moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Po has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Po looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Po preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bookem stops Po from standing up.
Bookem thows a big elbow that misses.
Bookem slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Po tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bullet Bookem has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bookem tries to score with some ground and pound. Po controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bookem scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Po to see if he's OK.
Bookem fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bookem trying to control the position but Po is working away.

Bookem looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Po is avoiding damage well.

Bookem looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Po is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Bookem thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bookem lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bullet Bookem showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Po has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
