Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nihua Hua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Stackstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nihua Hua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Stackstein! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stackstein shoots and misses and Hua counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Hua shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stackstein napping and manages to drive through into side control! Stackstein tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hua wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hua will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stackstein is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hua is controlling him well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sloppy strikes there by Hua. Hua cracks Stackstein with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Stackstein is rocked! Hua staying calm. Hua has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hua throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stackstein throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hua's waist but Hua gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stackstein off to one side. Hua shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Stackstein is still in real trouble! Can Hua finish him? Hua decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Stackstein shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hua counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Stackstein off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Hua follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Stackstein was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nihua Hua!
