Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snow Crash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Swarowski! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swarowski misses with a left hand and Crash counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Swarowski misses with a takedown attempt - Crash sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Swarowski misses with a two punch combination.
Crash fails with the takedown. Swarowski misses with a series of wild punches.
Swarowski looks to land a left hand but Crash moved out of range nicely. Swarowski misses the jab. Crash shoots in for a takedown but Swarowski shows good takedown defense. Crash stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crash wants it to stay on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swarowski catches Crash with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Crash dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Swarowski connects with a looping right hand.
Crash stuns Swarowski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Swarowski throws a lazy body kick letting Crash counter with a right hand. Crash takes a swing at Swarowski's ribcage but misses. Crash fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Snow Crash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Swarowski stuns Crash with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Crash lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crash ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swarowski needs to keep his hands up - Crash had a free shot at his head there. A combination from Swarowski does no damage. Crash pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Swarowski moves into range and connects with a jab. Crash misses with an uppercut. Crash bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Crash ducks under a wild hook from Swarowski. Crash tries to move into range but Swarowski moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Nice uppercut lands for Crash. That snapped Swarowski's head back.
Swarowski takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crash defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Swarowski. Swarowski throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Crash counters with a nice uppercut. Swarowski looks gassed! Crash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Swarowski as he jumps to the side. Swarowski shoots in for a takedown but Crash shows good takedown defense. Crash with a nice cross. Crash drives through with a takedown into guard. Crash throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Crash is looking to work some ground and pound but Swarowski has wrist control. Crash thows a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crash sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Swarowski's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crash missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Crash thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Swarowski's head. Swarowski lands a couple of sideways elbows. Swarowski keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Swarowski regains full guard. Nicely done. Swarowski working a defensive guard here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crash throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Swarowski works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Swarowski keeping moving, preventing Crash from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Snow Crash dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Crash fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Swarowski avoids it really well and circles away. Crash goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Crash shoots in looking for a takedown. Swarowski tries to sprawl out of it but Crash keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Swarowski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Swarowski swings for the body but Crash moves out of range.
Swarowski shoots for a takedown but Crash saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Swarowski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swarowski tries to clinch up but Crash circles away and keeps his distance. Swarowski waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Crash. Swarowski moves in looking to clinch but Crash pushes him off. Crash lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Crash shoots in and drives through. Swarowski sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Snow Crash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Swarowski feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Crashs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Crash lands a nice hook to Swarowski's body. Swarowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Swarowski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crash avoids it really well and circles away. Swarowski might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Swarowski throws a combination that misses and Crash connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Swarowski misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Crash.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swarowski displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crash throws out the jab. Crash throws a lazy right hand but Swarowski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Left hook, right uppercut from Swarowski. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Swarowski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Swarowski walks into a jab. Crash shoots for a double leg takedown but Swarowski sprawls well. He's pushed Crash's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Swarowski tries to clinch but Crash is having none of it. Swarowski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Swarowski misses with a double jab
letting Crash counter with a right hand. Swarowski is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crash fails to land the takedown. Chris Swarowski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crash shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Swarowski but Swarowski pushes him off and we're back to square one. A looping hook to the body misses from Crash. Swarowski does a little dance to reset his feet. Swarowski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crash as he avoids it easily. Swarowski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nice uppercut lands for Crash. That snapped Swarowski's head back.

Snow Crash is winning the standup battle so far. Swarowski moves in looking to clinch but Crash pushes him off.

Swarowski throws a big shot that misses. Crash jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Swarowski dives in and grabs Crash's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crash pushes down on Swarowski's head and hops out. Crash looking to score a takedown here. Swarowski is defending well but Crash drives through and ends up in Swarowski's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crash won't allow Swarowski to sweep him here. Crash postures up in Swarowski's guard and throws a big left but Swarowski blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crash looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Crash seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Swarowski for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Snow Crash dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Swarowski sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Crash changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Swarowski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Crash is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Swarowski will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Crash scores with punches from side control.
It looks like Chris Swarowski has been cut.

That has opened up Chris Swarowski's cut even more. A big shot lands for Crash! That's hurt Swarowski! Will he recover? Crash fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
