Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guillard throws a series of punches but Barbosa avoids them all with ease.
Barbosa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Guillard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barbosa on the side of the head.

and Guillard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Barbosa misses with a takedown
and Guillard counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Barbosa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Guillard lunges at Barbosa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barbosa's hand.
Guillard scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Barbosa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barbosa fails to land the takedown.
Barbosa shoots in for a takedown but Guillard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Guillard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barbosa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Guillard counters with a stiff right hand.
Barbosa dives in and grabs Guillard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guillard pushes down on Barbosa's head and hops out.
Guillard scores with a sloppy right hand. Barbosa should have avoided that one.
Barbosa tries for a takedown but Guillard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Barbosa is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Guillard moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Guillard!
