Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manoel Alonso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mizpha Isabelle Brown!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alonso closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alonso lands in his opponent's guard.
Alonso sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brown's guard.

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alonso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Alonso is nestled in close to Brown, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Alonso has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brown is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Alonso scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown is trying to stand up here but Alonso is controlling him well.
Brown is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Alonso decides to return to a standing position.

Alonso wants the takedown. Brown is fighting it off but Alonso persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brown's guard against the cage.

Brown can't keep his opponent in guard - Alonso advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Alonso is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brown defends it well.
Alonso is controlling the pace.
Alonso is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brown doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Alonso.
Brown tries to kick Alonso off but Alonso keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Alonso passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Brown!

Alonso is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Brown has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Alonso postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Brown out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Alonso goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
