Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Unknown Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aikanaro Mitsurugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter gets caught napping as Mitsurugi dives in and scores a takedown. Fighter manages to retain guard. Mitsurugi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fighter has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Fighter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fighter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fighter could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mitsurugi is looking to work some ground and pound but Fighter has wrist control. Mitsurugi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fighter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mitsurugi has Fighter in his guard. Mitsurugi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fighter is aware though and is defending well. Fighter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mitsurugi on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Fighter tries to free his leg and advance position but Mitsurugi is retaining full guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mitsurugi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fighter can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mitsurugi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fighter is aware though and is defending well. Mitsurugi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fighter's guard. Mitsurugi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mitsurugi looks gassed! Mitsurugi stops Fighter from standing up. Mitsurugi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fighter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fighter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitsurugi drops back looking for a leg! Fighter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fighter manages to kick Mitsurugi off! Mitsurugi jumps back into Fighter's guard. Mitsurugi won't allow Fighter to sweep him here. Fighter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mitsurugi works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mitsurugi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fighter has managed to free his arm - good work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mitsurugi is working for a submission of some sort.

Aikanaro Mitsurugi dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fighter throws a head kick but Mitsurugi moves out of range.
Fighter leaves Mitsurugi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mitsurugi shoots in and gets a takedown into Fighter's guard. Mitsurugi throwing strikes from guard but Fighter blocks nicely. Mitsurugi is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fighter is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fighter has escaped and now he's on top! Fighter controlling from the top position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fighter wants to stand but Mitsurugi is controlling his posture from full guard. Mitsurugi throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mitsurugi throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mitsurugi is breathing heavily. Fighter trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mitsurugi's guard. Fighter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mitsurugi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fighter has managed to get both his arms back between Mitsurugi's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitsurugi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fighter defends well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mitsurugi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Fighter frees his head nicely. Oh but Mitsurugi has switched to an armbar! Fighter is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
