Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cong misses with a body shot.
Cong keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fight stays on the outside here - Maximus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Maximus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cong gets back to full guard.
Maximus trying to move into half guard but instead Cong has managed to sweep!
Cong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Maximus is keeping the position for now.

Cong decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Maximus, up you get!
Cong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maximus.
Cong should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Maximus shoots in for a takedown but Cong shows good takedown defense.

Maximus has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Maximus there as he acknowledges the shot.

Maximus drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cong can't get the takedown.
Maximus drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cong gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Cong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Maximus fails with the takedown.

Cong decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Cong fails to land with a series of punches.
Maximus tries to clinch up
and Cong counters with a nice leg kick.
Maximus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cong as he avoids it easily.
Cong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maximus moves away.
Cong's corner calls for a 1-2. Cong obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Cong throws a lazy right hand but Maximus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Maximus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maximus showed some decent athleticism there.

Cong is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Cong is in trouble now - Maximus has advanced to mount!
Cong is trying to escape the mount.

Maximus is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Cong goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Maximus!
