Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Jackel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Trininski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trininski has chosen Baptised in Blood as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Augusto Trininski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Jackel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Augusto Trininski! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jackel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Trininski working to try and regain half guard.
Jackel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Trininski is looking to escape. Trininski defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jackel. Trininski tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Jackel there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Trininski is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jackel throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Jackel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jackel tries to control but Trininski wriggling away. Trininski wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jackel.
Jackel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Trininski is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackel thowing shots but they're missing. Trininski avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jackel.
Jackel throws a sloppy strike and Trininski uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Trininski has ended up in Jackel's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jackel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jackel lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Trininski! Jackel trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trininski wants to control but Jackel is having none of it. Trininski is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jackel misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Trininski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jackel controlling from mount. Trininski is squirming around, avoiding Jackel's attempts to control the action.

Jackel tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jackel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Trininski is looking to escape. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Jackel dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Jackel closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trininski to the mat! Trininski manages to get full guard. Trininski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackel is aware though and is defending well. Jackel trying to control the position from guard on top but Trininski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Trininski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jackel wants to get up but he can't break Trininski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The Jackel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jackel trying to control but Trininski is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Trininski is trying to control the position but Jackel postures up. Jackel looking to pass the guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of The Jackel. Jackel looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A head kick misses from Jackel. Jackel drives through with a takedown into guard. Trininski working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackel trying to control the position from guard on top but Trininski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackel is really struggling to control Trininski but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because The Jackel just wasn't active enough. Trininski scores with the left hand. Jackel knows he should have avoided that one. Trininski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jackel doesn't seem bothered though. Jackel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Trininski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trininski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackel.
Trininski throws a leg kick and Jackel counters with a nice double leg into guard. Trininski has Jackel pulled in close to control his posture. Jackel wants to stand and escape but instead Trininski has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Jackel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Jackel keeping moving, preventing Trininski from controlling successfully. Trininski stays in close to Jackel's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackel keeping full guard, as Trininski tries to pass. Trininski looking to sit in guard and control but Jackel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackel trying to control the position from guard on top but Trininski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jackel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Jackel dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Trininski lands with a good body shot. Trininski is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Trininski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Trininski is trying to control the position but Jackel postures up. Jackel tries to free his leg and advance position but Trininski is retaining full guard. Trininski is pulling down on Jackel's head to control his posture. Trininski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trininski wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jackel is now in half guard. Trininski tries to get to full guard but Jackel has control of the leg. Trininski is refusing to be controlled, as Jackel sits in half guard. Trininski is pressing down on Jackel's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jackel trying to control the position from guard on top but Trininski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackel looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Trininski tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We're going to have a standup here because The Jackel wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jackel gets a double leg takedown into Trininski's guard. Jackel wants to pass the guard but Trininski is keeping the position. Jackel wants to control from the top but Trininski keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trininski looking to control.
Jackel looking to sit in guard and control but Trininski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Trininski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackel is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Trininski, into his guard. Trininski looking for subs off his back but Jackel has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trininski is defending against the submission attempts here by Jackel.

And that's the end of the fight! The Jackel showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jackel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
