PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Manningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manningham comes to the cage accompanied by Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe . Mike Tyson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurt Manningham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manningham fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Manningham changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to avoid it but Manningham manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyson to the ground. Tyson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Manningham takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tyson misses with a hook. Manningham ducked under it nicely.
Manningham misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Tyson throws a jab but it's blocked by Manningham.
Tyson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Manningham on the side of the head.
Tyson lands with a hook. Manningham tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Manningham shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tyson pinned against the cage. Tyson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kurt Manningham. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manningham fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tyson avoids it really well and circles away.
Manningham takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Manningham misses with a takedown attempt - Tyson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tyson lands with an uppercut that bounces Manningham off the cage and back into rage.
Manningham takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tyson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Manningham momentarily.
Manningham jabs Tyson right on the nose. Tyson blinks but takes it well.
Manningham is breathing heavily.
Tyson scores with a sloppy right hand. Manningham should have avoided that one.
Manningham fails with a takedown attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tyson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jab, jab by Tyson - just one landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyson lands with a hook. Manningham tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Tyson scores with a nice right hand.

Manningham is rocked!
Tyson throws a pinpoint strike between Manningham's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Manningham crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Tyson scores a great knockout victory!
