Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vladimier at a distance.
Vladimier lands a jab to Howard's midsection.
Vladimier drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Vladimier thows a big elbow that misses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vladimier drops back looking for a leg! Howard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Howard manages to kick Vladimier off! Vladimier jumps back into Howard's guard.
Vladimier has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Vladimier is working to tighten is grip on Howard's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Howard has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Vladimier is really squeezing tight and eventually Howard passes out! Vladimier breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
