The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duberry circles away quickly and effectively.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Duberry does a little dance to reset his feet.
Duberry thuds a left hand into Smith's body.
Fidel Duberry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duberry scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Dante Smith has been cut.
Smith looks to land a body kick but Duberry moved away.
Smith shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Duberry throws a nice outside leg kick.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith moves out of range as Duberry strikes.
Duberry misses with a hook
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Duberry smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Smith looks gassed!
Smith has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Duberry.
Duberry cracks the inside of Smith's front leg.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Duberry lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smith at a distance.
Duberry misses the shot to the body.
Duberry uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

That has opened up Dante Smith's cut even more.

Duberry drops Smith with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smith looks back up at him and smiles so Duberry waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Duberry cracks Smith with a left hook right on the temple and Smith goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Duberry lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Smith is OK!
