Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Rushden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aewult Byrne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aewult Byrne will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Rushden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Aewult Byrne!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rushden throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Byrne's waist but Byrne gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rushden off to one side.

Byrne gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Byrne has his foot on Rushden's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rushden works his way back into a safe position though.

Byrne had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rushden defends it easily.

Byrne sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
