Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis has chosen Fort minor Ft. 50 Cent&Eminem - Remember the name Remix as his entrance music. Junior Lewis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesus Rios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Junior Lewis!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios misses with a double jab.
Rios throws a head kick but Lewis moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Rios. Those never looked like landing.
Rios leaves Lewis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rios connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Rios moves into the clinch.
Lewis wants to break the clinch but can't.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rios.
Lewis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rios walks away with a smile on his face. Lewis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rios misses with a wild combination.
Rios takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Rios rushes Lewis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rios dodges an elbow strike from Lewis.
Lewis throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Lewis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jesus Rios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Lewis.
Rios scores with a hook to the body.

Lewis is trying to break the clinch but Rios is controlling him.
Rios throws a punch but it's blocked by Lewis.

Lewis is trying to force a seperation but Rios has the dominant position.
Lewis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rios blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Lewis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rios creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Rios takes an elbow to the forehead.
Rios makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Rios lands a body shot.

Lewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lewis tries to clinch but Rios is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A swing and a miss from Lewis.
Lewis is looking to clinch.
Lewis motions for Rios to come forward. Lewis throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A head kick misses from Rios.
Rios slips under a jab.
Left hook, right uppercut from Rios.
Rios fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rios misses with a wild combination.
Jesus Rios is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lewis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rios is looking to clinch but Lewis is avoiding it.
Rios tries to clinch but Lewis is having none of it.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lewis, right into the meat.
Rios tries to clinch there but Lewis circles away.
Rios staying out of range there.
Rios ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lewis moves away.

and Lewis counters with a three punch combo that has Rios backing up. Rios nods at Lewis to acknowledge the strikes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lewis.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Lewis goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rios rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lewis's guard! Nice work there by Rios!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis is pulling down on Rios's head. It's preventing any offense from Rios, at least for the moment.

Lewis wants to stand and escape but Rios is having none of it.

Rios content to stall in guard here.
Rios has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jesus Rios has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Rios misses with a head kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Jesus Rios will probably get the nod.

Rios pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lewis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Lewis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rios swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rios keeping moving, preventing Lewis from controlling successfully.

Rios is working an open guard so Lewis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Rios avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lewis throws a right hand that Rios ducks under and follows up with a left that Rios also avoids with ease.
Rios takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Junior Lewis seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lewis misses with a head kick.
Lewis throws a leg kick but Rios checks it.

Lewis avoids the head kick by Rios.

Rios gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Rios doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Rios is trying to stall.
Lewis lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Lewis fails to pull guard.
Lewis throws an elbow but it misses.
Lewis tries for a takedown but Rios manages to get underhooks.
Rios can't find room to land a body shot as Lewis controls the action.
Rios lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lewis backwards.
Rios lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lewis backwards.
Lewis wants to break the clinch but can't.

Lewis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rios throws a head kick but Lewis moves out of range.
Lewis misses with a leg kick.

Lewis clinches up with Rios and pushes him back against the cage.
Jesus Rios has scored more points in the clinch so far.

Rios lands a left hand.
Rios softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rios lands with a short shot to the head.
Lewis tries to circle away but Rios has him pinned against the cage.

Lewis decides to pull guard.
Lewis is trying to control the position but Rios postures up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lewis looking for a sweep. Not yet Lewis, not yet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A big right from Rios misses.
Lewis with a jab.
Rios lands with a kick to the temple. Lewis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rios tries to close the distance and clinch but Lewis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lewis throws a head kick that misses
and Rios counters with a head kick that wobbles Lewis - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Rios sends him down. This one is all over!
