Papillion throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nelson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Papillion stands and throws Nelson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Nelson tries to bench press Papillion off him but Papillion keeps the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice sprawl there from Papillion as Nelson shoots in.
Papillion throws a hook to the side of Nelson's head but Nelson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Papillion dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Donk. Papillion catches Nelson right on the button with a cross.
Nelson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nelson is still on wobbly legs! Can Papillion finish him?
Papillion misses with a body kick.
Papillion bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nelson's head backwards.
Papillion throws a head kick but Nelson moves out of range.
Mendez Papillion is winning the standup battle so far.
Nelson loses concentration momentarily and Papillion pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Nelson crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Papillion finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mendez Papillion!
