Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Hammett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Casio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammett's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, For Whom The Bell Tolls. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirk Hammett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Casio! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammett throws a lazy uppercut
and Casio counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hammett throws a sloppy head kick and Casio moves out of range easily. Casio gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hammett wants to control from the top but Casio keeps moving. Casio has his feet on Hammett's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hammett closes the distance and clinches. Casio has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hammett uses from the top position. Hammett trying to control but Casio is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammett wants to pass the guard but Casio is keeping the position. Casio trying to control the position.
Hammett postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Casio is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hammett, into his guard. Hammett isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Casio stacks Hammett on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Casio!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammett tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Casio wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Casio working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hammett tries to improve position but can't. Hammett takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hammett tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hammett sneaks back into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hammett looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammett is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hammett might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hammett looking for submissions off his back. Casio gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Hammett throws a right hand that misses
and Casio counters with a shoot takedown. Hammett fights it but they end up in guard. Casio would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Casio's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Casio distracts Hammett with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Hammett is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hammett is looking for a triangle but Casio pushes his legs off easily.
Casio works a leg free and moves into half guard. Casio lands with a punch from half guard. Hammett throws a strike from the bottom but Casio passes into side control!
Hammett manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hammett wants to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Casio seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Casio working the head and body with strikes. Casio prevents Hammett from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Casio dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Casio avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hammett rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Casio counters by moving into the clinch. Casio tries for a takedown but Hammett manages to get underhooks.
Casio creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hammett's defenses.
It looks like Kirk Hammett has been cut. Hammett wants to break the clinch but can't.

A jab from Hammett misses. Hammett throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Casio to counter with a crisp jab. Casio fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hammett cracks Casio with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Casio shoots for a takedown but Hammett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Casio is looking to clinch. Hammett keeps the fight on the outside. Hammett throws a sloppy body shot
so Casio counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Casio stopping the sweep attempt from Hammett. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Casio's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hammett escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Casio gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Casio cracks Hammett with a solid left hand. Hammett is looking for a triangle here but Casio uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Casio tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Casio has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Casio decides to stand back up. Casio steps back and let's Hammett get back to his feet. Hammett misses with a looping right. Kirk Hammett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Casio moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hammett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Casio manages to avoid it. A looping hook to the body misses from Hammett. Casio does a little dance to reset his feet. Casio misses with an uppercut. Hammett saw that one coming. Hammett scores with a jab to the head.
Hammett closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Casio did well to prevent Hammett getting side control. Hammett is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Casio defends it well. Casio wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammett throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hammett is looking for a kimura but Casio is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hammett to get the leverage. Hammett misses with a head shot. Casio uses the momentum to regain guard. Hammettis looking to pass into half guard but Casio pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Casio is in guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hammett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hammett keeping moving, preventing Casio from controlling successfully. Hammett avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Casio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kirk Hammett's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Hammett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Casio's guard. Hammett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hammett loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hammett is pushing down on Casio's leg trying to pass to half guard. Casio is fighting to maintain full guard but Hammett has managed to sneak the leg through. Hammett is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Casio is just riding it out for now. Hammett eventually gives up the hold. Casio desperately trying to maintain half guard. Casio kicks Hammett off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casio closes the distance and clinches. Hammett is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Casio decides to pull guard. Hammett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hammett sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Casio's guard. Hammett is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Casio moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammett thows a big elbow that misses. Hammett trying to control but Casio is working from the bottom. Casio controls Hammett momentarily but Hammett frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammett works over Casio with some ground and pound from guard. Casio pulls Hammett in close to his closed guard and prevents Hammett from doing any damage or advancing position. Hammett postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hammett drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Casio dives on top into guard. Hammett has an active guard here but Casio has managed to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hammett is looking to improve his position.
Paul Casio is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Casio there. Casio content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Casio is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hammett sees it coming and defends easily. Hammett wants to improve his position but Casio is controlling well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Casio working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kirk Hammett has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hammett moves into full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Paul Casio. I've got Casio winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
