The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inoue lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Pennanen stuffs the takedown attempt from Inoue. Inoue gets slowly back to his feet.
Inoue pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Inoue shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Inoue was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Inoue prevents Pennanen from getting the reversal.
Pennanen is working hard here to advance position.
Inoue looking to control but Pennanen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Inoue is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pennanen to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pennanen shrugs it off.
Inoue wants to take Pennanen's back here but Pennanen is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Pennanen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Inoue wants to finish this one by submission but Pennanen is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Inoue.
Pennanen is trying to escape the mount.
Inoue content just to control the position here.
Inoue looking to control but Pennanen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Pennanen is looking to improve his position but Inoue isn't that keen on the idea.

Inoue is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Inoue extends the arm and Pennanen is forced to tap!
