Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chainz McGregor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hiro Kanada!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
McGregor moves in looking to clinch but Kanada pushes him off.

McGregor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kanada sprawls well initially but McGregor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McGregor misses with a head shot. Kanada uses the momentum to regain guard.
McGregor thows a big elbow that misses.
McGregor stands and throws Kanada's legs to the side, diving into side control.
McGregor trying to control the position but Kanada is working away.
Kanada tries to bench press McGregor off him but McGregor keeps the position.
Check out the look on McGregor's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Kanada manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGregor wants to control but Kanada is keeping busy.
Kanada wants to pass to mount but McGregor is defending the position.

Kanada is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, McGregor has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kanada wants to pass to mount but McGregor is defending the position.
McGregor is in trouble now - Kanada has advanced to mount!

Kanada looking to secure an arm triangle but McGregor defends it well.
McGregor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kanada works his way to his opponent's back.
McGregor wants to control his opponent's hands but Kanada gets his hands free.

Kanada working for a choke but McGregor is defending well.
You can see the frustration on McGregor's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Kanada working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. McGregor is doing well to defend. Kanada seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! McGregor is forced to tap and this one is over!
