Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raja Kumar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Dirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kumar comes into the arena with Blood In Blood Out blaring out of the sound system. Raja Kumar has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Dirt! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirt fails with the takedown. Dirt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kumar tries to avoid it but Dirt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kumar to the ground. Kumar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kumar has closed the distance and engaged Dirt in a clinch.
Kumar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dirt. Raja Kumar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Dirt. Dirt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kumar circles away. Dirt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kumar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kumar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dirt, pushing him back against the cage. Kumar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dirt doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kumar counters with a three punch combo that has Dirt backing up. Dirt nods at Kumar to acknowledge the strikes. Kumar moves into the clinch. Kumar pulls Dirt into guard.
Dirt stops Kumar from standing up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kumar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kumar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dirt. Donk. Kumar catches Dirt right on the button with a cross. Kumar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dirt's head backwards. Kumar is working the combinations to good effect here. Kumar's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kumar duly obliges. Dirt dodges the punch combination from Kumar.

Dirt gets slowly back to his feet. Kumar scores with a three punch combo!

They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dirt is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kumar.
