Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Skellington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Skellington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oscar Torres! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Skellington. Torres does a little dance to reset his feet. Skellington tries to clinch but Torres moves out of range. Torres gets a takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Skellington is looking to control Torres's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Skellington avoid being mounted? Torres is keen to just control but Skellington is a slippery customer. Torres stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Skellington to get to his feet. Skellington darts in trying to clinch and Torres counters by moving into the clinch. Torres breaks the clinch.
Skellington closes the distance but Torres moves to the side and Torres counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Torres. Torres must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres wanted to stand there but Skellington had control of the position. Torres pushing down on Skellington's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Torres prevents Skellington from standing back up.
Skellington tries to get to full guard but Torres has control of the leg. Torres controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Torres wants to pass the guard but Skellington is defending well. Skellington has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Torres is working away from the top position though.

Torres is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Skellington defends it well. Torres tries to pass to full mount but Skellington defends it. Skellington is staying active underneath Torres, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skellington wants to improve his position but Torres is controlling well.
Torres takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Skellington wants to get back to his feet. Ground and pound from Torres. Skellington gets full guard. Torres passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Torres decides to stand up. Skellington fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skellington with a lazy takedown attempt and Torres makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Excellent takedown into side control there by Torres. Torres creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Skellington sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Torres working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Skellington pushes Torres away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Torres gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Torres decides to stand back up. Torres steps back and let's Skellington get back to his feet. Skellington with a lazy takedown attempt and Torres counters with a nice double leg into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oscar Torres dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Torres shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Skellington is trying to maintain the position but Torres is very close to passing his half guard. Torres decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Skellington tries to clinch but Torres is having none of it. Torres moves into range and clinches up with Skellington. Torres has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Skellington uses from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Skellington! Skellington regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skellington is looking to control Torres's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Skellington avoid being mounted? Torres seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are battling for position here. Skellington manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Torres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Skellington. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Torres tries to free his leg and advance position but Skellington is retaining full guard. Torres trying to control but Skellington is working from the bottom. Torres preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres throwing strikes from guard but Skellington blocks nicely. Torres sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Oscar Torres. Skellington throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Torres's waist but Torres gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Skellington off to one side. Jack Skellington is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Skellington moves to clinch but Torres breaks away and Torres decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Skellington's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Torresis looking to pass into half guard but Skellington pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Skellington is in guard. Skellington could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Torres wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Torres manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Skellington is squirming around, avoiding Torres's attempts to control the action. Torres sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Skellington throwing hammer fists to the chest of Torres. What's that going to do exactly?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skellington sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Torres is trying to work for a kimura but Skellington is defending well.
Torres is keen to just control but Skellington is a slippery customer. Skellington is looking to escape. Torres decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Skellington gets caught napping as Torres dives in and scores a takedown. Skellington manages to retain guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skellington trying to keep a closed guard but Torres is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oscar Torres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Torres throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Torres controlling the pace. Skellington has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Torres is working away from the top position though. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Torres not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Torres escapes and gets back to his feet. Torres gets the takedown into side control. Skellington wants to control but Torres postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skellington sneaks back into half guard. Torres tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Torres takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Skellington wants to control but Torres is keeping busy and won't allow it. Torres thows a huge punch but Skellington dodges it nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Torres tries to stand and escape but Skellington is controlling the position. Skellington actively working from the bottom here. Skellington actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres stalling. Torres missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Torres has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Skellington is not content to let Torres control the position. Torres trying to advance position but Skellington counters by regaining guard. Torres sitting in guard, not really doing much. Torres thows a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Skellington manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Torres manages to get himself to full guard.

Oscar Torres is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Oscar Torres comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Torres has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
