Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Pace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Popeye Mcgrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgrady is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pace takes one on the button.
It looks like Mark Pace has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Mcgrady as Pace shoots in.
Pace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcgrady tries to avoid it but Pace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcgrady to the ground. Mcgrady escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mcgrady tries to clinch there but Pace circles away.
Pace avoids a punch combination nicely.
Popeye Mcgrady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgrady closes the distance and clinches.
Mcgrady prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Pace. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pace manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Pace tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mcgrady wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pace has him pressed against the cage.

Pace turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Pace wants to control but Mcgrady is keeping him busy.

Pace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcgrady keeps working.
Mcgrady is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mcgrady throws a good cross that connects.
Mcgrady goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Pace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcgrady sprawls well initially but Pace persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mcgrady is trying to stand back up but Pace is controlling him

Mcgrady wants to stand and escape but Pace is having none of it.
Pace works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mcgrady tries to get to full guard but Pace has control of the leg.

Pace is breathing heavily.
Pace postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mcgrady looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pace is one step ahead there.
Pace postures up in Mcgrady's guard and throws a big left but Mcgrady blocks it.
Mcgrady bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pace's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mcgrady thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pace tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mcgrady has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pace is proving hard to escape from.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pace wants to sweep here but Mcgrady controlling him for the moment.

Mcgrady has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pace to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mcgrady is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pace pulls down on the head and he's put Mcgrady to sleep! This one is all over!
