Bob kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Notkea rotta - Itä meidän. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Billy Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tank McLair!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McLair moves away.
Bob throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bob works over McLair's head and body with a nice combination.
Bob dodges the punch combination from McLair.
McLair throws a series of punches but Bob avoids them all with ease.
Bob shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McLair as he jumps to the side.

Bob scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
McLair moves into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bob accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bob postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McLair is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bob, into his guard.
McLair throws a strike but Bob rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bob throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bob looking to sit in guard and control but McLair gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bob on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bob tries to get out of the position.
McLair content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

McLair postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for McLair. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
McLair lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bob quite badly. Bob pulls McLair in close trying to recover. McLair postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bob on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bob doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
