Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Impaler dives in and grabs Steele's left leg, looking for a takedown. Steele pushes down on Impaler's head and hops out.
Logan Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steele throws a good cross that connects.
Impaler avoids the body shot from Steele.
Steele fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Impaler manages to avoid it.
Impaler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Steele isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Impaler stacks Steele on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Impaler!

Steele stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Steele wants it to stay on the feet.
Steele shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Impaler but Impaler pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Impaler's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Vlad Impaler.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Impaler crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Steele - the referee stops the clock and Impaler gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Steele. Impaler manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Impaler is trying to drag Steele to the mat but Steele just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Steele lands a right hand that snaps the head of Impaler backwards.
Steele has Impaler pressed against the cage, preventing Impaler from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Steele is looking to control Impaler's arms but Impaler gets an underhook and turns him. Now Steele has his back to the cage.
Steele swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Impaler looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Impaler goes for a takedown attempt but Steele pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Logan Steele comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
