Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Bensin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laish Tenedos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alvin Bensin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Laish Tenedos!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bensin throws a push kick but Tenedos slaps the foot to one side.
Tenedos throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Bensin shoots in for a takedown but Tenedos shows good takedown defense.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bensin.
Bensin throws a series of strikes that have Tenedos backpedaling.
It looks like Laish Tenedos has been cut.
A head kick misses from Bensin.
Tenedos misses with a wild combination.
Bensin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tenedos eats them both and turns towards Bensin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bensin lands a right hook to the body.
Tenedos on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bensin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tenedos swivels and escapes.

Tenedos tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bensin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tenedos tries to land a front kick but Bensin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bensin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tenedos at a distance.

Bensin digs a good body shot into Tenedos's ribs.
Tenedos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Bensin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tenedos tries to avoid it but Bensin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tenedos to the ground. Tenedos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bensin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tenedos throws a head kick that misses.
Bensin lands a two punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bensin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Bensin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tenedos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tenedos thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bensin if he has to take too many more of those.

Bensin keeps the fight on the outside.
Bensin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bensin.
Bensin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tenedos.
Bensin throws a series of strikes that have Tenedos backpedaling.
Tenedos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bensin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That has opened up Laish Tenedos's cut even more.

Alvin Bensin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bensin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bensin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tenedos has time to react.
Bensin is working the combinations to good effect here.

Bensin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tenedos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tenedos moves in looking to clinch but Bensin pushes him off.
Tenedos scores with a head kick. Bensin tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Tenedos throws a head kick that half lands.
Tenedos leaves Bensin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bensin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A clash of legs there as Bensin blocks the low kick.
Tenedos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bensin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Horrible takedown by Bensin or perhaps it was just good defense by Tenedos which made him look bad.

Tenedos takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bensin lands with a hook. Tenedos tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Bensin cracks Tenedos with a right hand to the side of the head.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Bensin! Tenedos is backing up but he can't get away as Bensin lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Tenedos and ends the fight. Great knockout.
