Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bartosz Kornicki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Stout! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stout gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kornicki to score an easy takedown into full guard. Stout throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kornicki uses it to pass to side control.
Stout is looking to get back to his feet here but Kornicki is keeping cool and he's managed to take Stout's back. Stout controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Kornicki just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Kornicki is hanging on to Stout's back as he tries to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kornicki can't escape the position, to get back to his feet. Stout tries to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kornicki is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout prevents his opponent from getting back to his feet. Kornicki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stout on the ground. Stout is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kornicki is trying to stand. Kornicki is breathing heavily. You can see the frustration on Stout's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Stout looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Stout breaks Kornicki's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Kornicki on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kornicki tries to get out of the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stout drops back looking for a leg! Kornicki is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kornicki manages to kick Stout off! Stout jumps back into Kornicki's guard. Stout working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kornicki's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeff Stout dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stout misses with a takedown attempt and Kornicki decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stout's guard. Stout working for a triangle but Kornicki defends it easily.
Stout is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stout looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kornicki would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kornicki is sitting in close to Stout's body. Stout has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kornicki is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kornicki is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Stout.
