Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalib Stucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Aldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kalib Stucker! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stucker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aldo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Aldo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stucker on his heels. He'll look to pass Stucker's guard now, I'm sure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Stucker looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Aldo looking to pass the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aldo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stucker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Aldo wants to get back to full guard. Stucker tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aldo tries to roll over but Stucker keeps him under control. Aldo is looking to escape. Stucker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stucker trying to control from half guard but Aldo is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stucker wants to stand but Aldo has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Aldo gets full guard. Aldo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Aldo is working hard here to advance position. Aldo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Aldo wants to stand but Stucker is controlling the position. Stucker wants to control from the top but Aldo keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stucker advances to half guard. Aldo is refusing to be controlled, as Stucker sits in half guard. Aldo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Aldo. Stucker preventing the sweep. Aldo working for a triangle but Stucker defends it easily.
Aldo pushes Stucker off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo throws a combination. Stucker tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Aldo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stucker doesn't manage to clinch there - Aldo circles away.
A cross from Aldo lands. Aldo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Aldo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Aldo is breathing heavily. Stucker is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stucker wants to clinch up but Aldo keeps it at a distance. Aldo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stucker's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aldo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stucker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stucker has escaped and now he's on top! Stucker tries to stand but Aldo is controlling from the bottom. Stucker pushes down on Aldo's leg and manages to get into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stucker is trying to control. Aldo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jose Aldo dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Aldo instigates a clinch. Stucker with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Stucker misses with a knee to the head. Aldo wants to get back to striking at distance but Stucker won't allow it.
Stucker gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Aldo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Aldo manages to end up in side control. Stucker prevents Aldo from moving into mount. Check out the look on Aldo's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Stucker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Stucker is defending against the submission attempts here by Aldo.

Jose Aldo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stucker gets back to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stucker keeping full guard, as Aldo tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo throws a strike but Stucker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Aldo looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Stucker passes into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stucker is taking a breather. Aldo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Stucker wants to stand up but Aldo is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo wants to improve his position but Stucker is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stucker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aldo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Aldo is in trouble now - Stucker has advanced to mount! Aldo blocking the ground and pound. Stucker trying to control but he's not successful this time. Aldo bucks Stucker off and manages to get back to his feet! Stucker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Aldo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stucker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aldo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Aldo throws a lazy head kick and Stucker counters with a big head kick but Aldo shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aldo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Aldo is trying to force a seperation but Stucker has the dominant position. Stucker with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Aldo has clasped his hands together around Stucker's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stucker gets back to half guard. Stucker is trying to maintain the position but Aldo is very close to passing his half guard. Stucker blocking the ground and pound attempt from Aldo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aldo winds up and cracks Stucker with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Stucker trying to control here.
Stucker regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jose Aldo will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Aldo takes the fight into the clinch. Stucker throws a knee to the head but misses.
Aldo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Aldo feints a jab promting Stucker to slip. Aldo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stucker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Stucker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stucker pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Aldo swats away the attempt to clinch by Stucker. Aldo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stucker quickly recovers to half guard. Aldo is thwarting Stucker's attempts to control the position. Aldo is trying to work for a kimura but Stucker is defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Aldo lands strikes from half guard.
Stucker is rocked! Aldo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stucker is still in real trouble! Can Aldo finish him? Ground and pound from Aldo. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Aldo connects with a nice short shot to Stucker's temple. Aldo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Aldo postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Stucker in real trouble here! The ref calls for Stucker to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Aldo!
