Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook has chosen Lifeless by 12 Stones as his entrance music. James Bond could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dane Cook's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Bond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dane Cook! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Cook duly obliges. Cook throws a shot to the body.
Cook lands a slapping body shot.
The fighters circling - Bond throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A nice leg kick lands there from Cook. Cook looking for a takedown here - he's got it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cook thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bond preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bond is pulling down on Cook's head. It's preventing any offense from Cook, at least for the moment. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cook trying to control the position from guard on top but Bond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cook tries to free his leg and advance position but Bond is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook being controlled here momentarily.
The ref stands the fighters back up. James Bond wasn't doing enough on the ground. Cook lands a really nice looking cross but Bond seems unphased.
A nice combination there by Cook.
Cook connects with a crisp jab. Cook keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Cook throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bond is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cook lands a jab. Oh Bond is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cook scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Bond is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Cook moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dane Cook!
