Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Tupper V (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominick Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominick Cruz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Tupper V! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dominick Cruz! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz moves into the clinch successfully.
Tupper V breaks from the clinch.
Tupper V has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cruz jumps guard and drags Tupper V to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Cruz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tupper V gets to his feet - Cruz follows without any prompting. The fighters circle momentarily. Tupper V darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Dominick Cruz has been cut. Cruz stuffs the takedown. Tupper V fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cruz tries to close the distance and clinch but Tupper V swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tupper V feints a jab promting Cruz to slip. Tupper V then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cruz slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cruz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tupper V. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Tupper V. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tupper V swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper V is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cruz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Cruz lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Tupper V pushes Cruz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cruz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Cruz wants to stand but Tupper V is controlling his arm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tupper V gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Cruz is looking to stall here but Tupper V recovers full guard. Tupper V looking for a guillotine here but Cruz defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tupper V is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Tupper V escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cruz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Cruz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tupper V is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cruz is controlling him. Tupper V pushes Cruz off and scrambles back to his feet.
Cruz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tupper V closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cruz to the mat! Cruz manages to get full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tupper V with a flurry of punches that miss. Tupper V working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tupper V gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Cruz misses with a two punch combination.
Horrible takedown by Tupper V or perhaps it was just good defense by Cruz which made him look bad. Tupper V fails in his attempt to clinch. Tupper V throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tupper V swats away the attempt to clinch by Cruz. Tupper V misses with a combination
and Cruz counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Tupper V is breathing heavily. Cruz lets loose with a powerful body kick. Tupper V will feel that in the morning. Cruz stuffs the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cruz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tupper V is not content to let Cruz control the position. Cruz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tupper V slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Cruz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tupper V. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cruz trying to control the position from guard on top but Tupper V is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cruz wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Tupper V's closed guard. He's half up but Tupper V has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Tupper V pivots and extends the arm, Cruz falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Tupper V! Well done that man!
