The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Myers on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Edilhson throws a head kick but Myers moves out of range.
Myers is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Edilhson misses the target.
Edilhson checks a leg kick nicely.
Myers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Edilhson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A head kick misses from Myers.
A slow jab from Edilhson misses its intended target.
Myers misses with a double jab.
Edilhson throws a series of punches but Myers moves out of range.
Edilhson lands with a nice body punch.

Myers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Myers on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Edilhson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Myers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Edilhson cracks Myers with a good jab.
Myers takes one on the button.
Myers misses with a double jab.
Myers bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Edilhson's head.
Myers throws a half hearted mid kick.
Myers tries to clinch there but Edilhson circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Edilhson thumps Myers with a low kick.

Myers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Edilhson circles away.
Edilhson lands a big head kick that sends Myers tumbling to the mat! Edilhson takes a step backwards and waves Myers back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Wil Myers has been cut.
Edilhson throws out a powerful jab.
Edilhson drops Myers with a beautiful combination! Myers stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Edilhson is looking for the KO!
Myers is rocked!
No joy there for Edilhson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oh Myers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Edilhson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Myers moves forwards but Edilhson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Myers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Edilhson.
Myers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Edilhson connects with a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Edilhson. Myers does a little dance to reset his feet.
Myers walks forward, straight into a front kick from Edilhson.
Myers throws a right hand that Edilhson ducks under and follows up with a left that Edilhson also avoids with ease.
Nice defenses there by Edilhson.
Edilhson thows a leg kick but Myers checks it
and Myers counters with a lovely shot to the body.

No joy there for Edilhson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Myers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Edilhson.
Edilhson throws a sloppy head kick and Myers moves out of range easily.
Edilhson lands a nice hook to Myers's body. Myers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Edilhson throws a body punch but Myers moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Edilhson tries to score with a low kick but Myers moves his leg out of the way.
Myers throws a looping overhand right but Edilhson ducks down to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Myers misses with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edmundo Edilhson dominated that round.

Myers moves out of range as Edilhson strikes.
Edilhson throws a series of punches but Myers avoids them all with ease.
Edilhson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Myers manages to avoid it.
Edilhson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Myers tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Edilhson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Edmundo Edilhson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Edilhson.
Edilhson misses with the combination.
A jab from Edilhson misses.

Myers misses with a two punch combination.
Edilhson throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Edilhson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Myers might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Myers with a poor takedown
and Edilhson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Edilhson drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Edilhson is posturing up here but Myers has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Edilhson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Edilhson has to tap! Slick submission there by Myers!
