Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josep Kolaric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Josep Kolaric has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Josep Kolaric seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolaric shoots in for a takedown but Perez shows good takedown defense.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josep Kolaric. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Perez postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kolaric looks a forlorn figure.

Kolaric knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perez on the ground.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Perez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kolaric is bucking up trying to escape but Perez cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Kolaric is rocked!
Perez connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Oh Kolaric is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Perez lands with some strikes.
Kolaric takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Perez's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
