Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Childs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Childs's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bat out of hell. Moreno has chosen where is the love as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Hector Moreno has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Childs! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hector Moreno! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Childs tries to clinch up but Moreno circles away and keeps his distance. Moreno throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Childs's waist but Childs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moreno off to one side. Moreno turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Moreno throws the kick towards the body but Childs avoids it. Moreno shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Childs's guard. Moreno works over Childs with some ground and pound from guard. Moreno is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Moreno content to stall in guard here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moreno accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreno throwing strikes from guard but Childs blocks nicely. Moreno scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Moreno with a flurry of punches that miss. Moreno is looking to work some ground and pound but Childs has wrist control. Childs on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Childs tries to get out of the position. Moreno sitting in guard here, content to control. Moreno trying to control the position from guard on top but Childs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Moreno works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moreno is trying to control the action in half guard but Childs is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Moreno missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Moreno looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nice strikes from Moreno there. Childs is trying to stand up here but Moreno is controlling him well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Childs keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Moreno takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Childs is trying to stand up here but Moreno is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Childs is refusing to be controlled, as Moreno sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Childs blocking the ground and pound attempt from Moreno. Moreno throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Moreno thows a huge punch but Childs dodges it nicely.
Childs is not content to let Moreno control the position. Childs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moreno on the ground. Moreno missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Moreno not landing any meaningful shots this time. Childs keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Childs trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moreno seems to be working for a kimura but Childs defends the submission attempt. Moreno takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Moreno passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Childs! Moreno lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moreno is in the full mount, landing strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hector Moreno dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Childs misses with a low kick. Moreno throws a sloppy head kick and Childs moves out of range easily. Childs throws a leg kick but Moreno sees it coming and moves out of range. Childs tries a head kick but it misses.
Childs connects with a body shot that sends Moreno's belly button to the back. Childs chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Childs lands with a straight right. Moreno didn't see that one coming. Moreno steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Childs. That one must have hurt. Moreno tries to score with a low kick but Childs moves his leg out of the way. Moreno throws the kick towards the body but Childs avoids it. Moreno takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moreno throws a poor cross that misses
and Childs connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Childs takes a swing at Moreno's ribcage but misses. Brian Childs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Childs checks a leg kick. Childs tries to land a leg kick but Moreno saw it coming and moves away.
Moreno thows a left - swing and a miss! Childs slips under a jab from Moreno. Moreno lands a head kick. Childs smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Childs scores with a nice head shot. Childs misses with a body kick. Moreno scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Childs ducks under a wild hook from Moreno. Childs tries to clinch there but Moreno circles away.
Childs blocks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moreno looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Moreno tries to work over Childs's front leg with a kick but Childs checks it. Childs feints and then cracks Moreno's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Moreno down. Childs scoring well with a low kick there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Childs lands a slapping body shot.
Moreno is breathing heavily. Childs throws a nice outside leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Childs.
Childs throws a front kick that sends Moreno stumbling back into the cage. Hector Moreno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Childs fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moreno, pushing him back against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Childs.
Moreno takes a shot to the head. Childs misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreno stalling the fight.
Childs scores with a knee to the head.
Childs tries to land knees in the clinch but Moreno avoids the damage to the body. Moreno drops down looking for an ankle pick but Childs pulls his leg out and moves away.
Childs lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Moreno backs up against the cage.
Childs bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Moreno ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Childs moves away. The fighters circle, before Childs throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Moreno's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Childs lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Brian Childs! Brian Childs retains his featherweight title!
