The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valquez thuds his right hand into Koscheck's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Koscheck dives in and grabs Valquez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Valquez pushes down on Koscheck's head and hops out.

Valquez unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Koscheck! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Valquez is unloading with more strikes now! Koscheck drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
