Dance comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Broken Beating Scarred - Metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bill Dance has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Burton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Dance!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.


It looks like Jack Burton has been cut.
Dance misses with a hook. Burton ducked under it nicely.
Dance misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Burton.
Dance dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dance tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burton was well out of range. Poor timing from Dance.
Dance throws a body punch but Burton moves out of range.
Burton walks into a jab.
Burton throws a jab but it's blocked by Dance.
Burton motions for Dance to come forward. Burton throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Burton dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Burton tried to score with a low kick but Dance checks it.

Burton drives through and clinches with Dance against the cage.

Dance goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Burton slows down the pace here.

Burton lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dance backwards.

Dance breaks the clinch.
Burton throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Dance throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Dance changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Dance in side control, throwing shots but Burton defends.
Burton wants to control but Dance postures up.
Dance trying to control the action but Burton is working from the bottom.
Burton regains half guard.
Burton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Dance lands strikes from half guard.

Burton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dance pulls his head out easily.

Dance wants to take a breather but Burton is having none of it.
Dance is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Burton manages to get to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dance looking to sit in guard and control but Burton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Burton content to stall in guard here.
Dance is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dance looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dance is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nice defenses there by Burton.
Dance tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burton was well out of range. Poor timing from Dance.
Dance is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Burton rather than just go for the knockout.

Burton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dance's hands.
Dance ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burton moves away.

Dance checks the leg kick nicely there.
Dance shoots in looking for a takedown. Burton tries to sprawl out of it but Dance keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Burton throws a lazy right hand but Dance sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dance misses with a body kick.
Burton tries to bum rush Dance with a series of wild strikes but Dance uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dance misses with a wild body shot.
Burton dodges the punch combination from Dance.
Dance takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Burton takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Burton tries to clinch up but Dance circles away and keeps his distance.
Burton throws a nice outside leg kick.
Burton misses with an attempted mid kick.
Dance misses with a body shot.
Dance misses the shot to the body.
Dance avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jack Burton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Burton will probably get the nod.

That kick from Burton tenderised Dance's leg. Dance is trying to keep his angry face on.

Dance doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dance keeps the fight on the outside.
Burton throws a series of punches but Dance moves out of range.
Burton throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Dance closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Dance moves forwards but Burton connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Burton throws out a powerful jab.
Burton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burton drops Dance with a straight right hand, right on the button! Burton follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
