Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tom Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Valesquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Ramblin' Gamblin' Man . Valesquez has chosen "Ratamahatta" by Sepultura as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Johnson feints a jab promting Valesquez to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Valesquez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Valesquez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Valesquez.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Johnson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Valesquez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Valesquez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fabricio Valesquez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
