Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tank Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Rill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Rill manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.
Jones wants to stand but Rill is controlling the position.

Rill tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rill has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rill thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Rill goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rill.

and Rill counters with a crisp one two that drops Jones! Rill thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jones to his feet! Jones is in big trouble!

Jones drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rill manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jones has Rill in his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rill lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rill.

Rill shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Rill postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rill, into his guard.

Well Rill has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
