Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Russell Belcher has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Russell Belcher seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Russell Belcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Parker! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Parker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Parker loads up on a big right hand but Belcher slips the punch. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Parker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Russell Belcher has been cut. Parker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Parker tries for a takedown but Belcher sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Parker gets a takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's one minute gone in the round. Parker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Belcher is just riding it out for now. Parker eventually gives up the hold. Parker looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Belcher tries to roll over but Parker keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Belcher is refusing to be controlled, as Parker sits in half guard. Parker tries to pass to full mount but Belcher defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parker trying to control from half guard but Belcher is working away. Parker is trying to work for a kimura but Belcher is defending well.
Parker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Parker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Belcher's head. Parker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Parker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Parker trying to mount his opponent but Belcher defends it. Belcher wants to improve his position but Parker is controlling well.
Parker passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Belcher! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Parker throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Belcher is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker looking to control and managing it successfully. Parker misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Belcher tries to hold on but Parker pushes him away. Parker throws some wild stikes that Belcher manages to avoid easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parker trying to control but Belcher is having none of it. Belcher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Belcher tries to get out of the position. Parker lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Travis Parker dominated that round. The cut man is working on Russell Belcher's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Belcher throws a big shot that misses. Parker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belcher swivels and escapes. The fight stays on the outside here - Parker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Belcher takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Parker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Belcher sprawls well. Belcher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Parker gets slowly back to his feet. Belcher tries to clinch but Parker moves out of range. Parker shoots for a double leg takedown but Belcher sprawls well. He's pushed Parker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Russell Belcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Parker. Parker dips to his left and cracks Belcher with an uppercut! Parker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Belcher's head backwards. A punch combination from Belcher misses. Belcher throws a hook but Parker blocks it. Belcher takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parker fails with the takedown. Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Belcher circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Belcher. Travis Parker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Belcher misses with a wild combination.
Parker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belcher swivels and escapes. Belcher goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Belcher shoots in and gets a takedown into Parker's guard. Parker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Belcher defends well. Belcher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Travis Parker has got the better of the ground game so far. Belcher passes into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ground and pound from Belcher. Belcher is pressing down on Parker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Parker is holding on for now.

Parker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Belcher scores with a couple of nice shots. Belcher looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Parker looking for submissions off his back. Parker looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker gets full guard. Parker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Belcher has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Parker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Belcher avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Parker can't keep his opponent in guard - Belcher advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Parker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Belcher pulls his head out easily. Belcher is nestled in close to Parker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belcher tries to pass the half guard into mount. Parker knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Parker looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Parker on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Parker trying to control here.
Parker works his way to full guard. Good work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Belcher is working Parker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Belcher scoring with punches to the head and body. Parker working for a triangle but Belcher defends it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Russell Belcher will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Russell Belcher's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Belcher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively. Parker fails with a takedown attempt. The fighters circling - Belcher throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Parker looks for a takedown but Belcher sprawls well. Belcher connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Parker momentarily.
Nice sprawl there from Belcher as Parker shoots in. Russell Belcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Parker. Belcher is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Belcher lands with a right hand. Belcher throws a hook but Parker avoids it easily. Parker scores with a takedown into Belcher's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Belcher is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belcher wants to sweep here but Parker controlling him for the moment. Belcher keeping moving, preventing Parker from controlling successfully. Parker stopping the sweep attempt from Belcher. Parker postures up in Belcher's guard and throws a big left but Belcher blocks it. Belcher preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Parker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Parker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker trying to control but Belcher is working from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Belcher looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Parker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Belcher is not content to let Parker control the position. Parker is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Parker throws a strike aimed at the side of Belcher's head but Belcher avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Belcher sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Belcher tries to improve position but can't. Parker misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Belcher is trying to improve his position. Parker misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Parker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Belcher keeps working. Parker is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Belcher will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Parker working away. Parker trying to control the position but Belcher is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Parker crashes against the mat.

Parker trying to control the position but Belcher is working away. The strikes coming from Parker are missing the target in this wave of attacks. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Belcher has escaped the position, nice work there. Parker wants to control but Belcher is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Parker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Parker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
