Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armando Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Cube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cube comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bow Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ice Cube!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega cracks Cube with an open hand slap.
Vega moves into range and connects with a jab.

Cube uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vega .
Cube throws a series of punches but Vega avoids them all with ease.
Cube fails with a takedown attempt.
Cube closes the distance and clinches up with Vega , looking for a takedown. Cube pushes Vega against the cage but Vega circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cube scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cube throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cube misses with a series of wild punches.

Vega jabs at Cube's body.
Vega listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
A punch lands to the side of Cube 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vega just misses with a punch to the body.

and Vega counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Cube walks into a jab.
Vega fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vega moves out of range of the strikes.
Cube takes a jab right on the kisser.
Cube misses with an uppercut. Vega saw that one coming.
Cube shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vega as he jumps to the side.
Armando Vega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ice Cube.
Nice body punch from Vega .
Cube will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Vega thows a body shot but no joy.
Vega is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Cube changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cube slips a straight right by Vega .
Cube throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vega sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cube throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vega counters with a left to the body.
Cube looks gassed!
Vega scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cube doesn't seem bothered though.
Vega thows a body shot but no joy.
Vega displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Ice Cube has been cut.
Ice Cube seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cube gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Vega misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cube.
Cube misses with a few strikes there.
Vega fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cube manages to avoid it.
Cube shoots in and drives through. Vega sprawls well.
A combination from Cube does no damage.
Vega throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vega throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cube on the side of the head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cube shoots in but Vega avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cube throws a big shot that misses.
Cube misses with a hook.
Ice Cube is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cube throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vega counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cube slips under a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vega . Cube does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vega lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Cube is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vega .

Cube fails to land the takedown.
Cube throws a predictable looking body shot
and Vega counters with a stiff right hand.
Vega connects with the punch.
Vega lands with a straight right. Cube didn't see that one coming.
Cube ducks under a wild hook from Vega .
Cube swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Vega .
Vega gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cube is breathing heavily.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Cube trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Cube sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vega 's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vega wants to control but Cube is keeping busy.
Vega is looking for a sweep. Cube is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cube trying to pass the guard but Vega defending well.
Vega is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cube is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vega has managed to free his arm - good work.
Vega won't allow Cube to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vega is looking to control Cube's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vega avoid being mounted?
Cube wants to free his trapped foot but Vega is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Vega tries to get to full guard but Cube has control of the leg.
Cube working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Vega 's thigh. Vega counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Vega knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cube on the ground.
Cube stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vega swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vega has Cube pulled in close to control his posture.
Cube passes Vega 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Vega on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vega tries to get out of the position.
Cube is trying for a kimura here. Vega looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Cube wins by kimura!
